Rocks Cluster and LVM

LVM is not supported by Rocks. But it is possible with additional manual work
OS: Rocks 6

Add to a file /export/rocks/install/site-profiles/6.0/nodes/replace-partition.xml

<pre>
echo "bootloader --location=mbr
zerombr
clearpart --all --initlabel
part /boot --fstype ext3 --size=400 --ondisk=sda
part pv.01 --size=1 --grow
volgroup vg0 pv.01
logvol / --vgname=vg0 --size=10240 --name=root
logvol /var --vgname=vg0 --size=10240 --name=var
logvol /opt --vgname=vg0 --size=10240 --name=opt
logvol /tmp --vgname=vg0 --size=10240 --name=tmp
logvol swap --vgname=vg0 --size=10240 --name=swap" &> /tmp/user_partition_info
</pre>

Works with new HDD with empty partition table.

But if HDD already have another partition table. After compute node instillation make:

rocks run host compute-0-0 command='dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=512 count=1'
rocks set host boot compute-0-0 action=install
rocks run host compute-0-0 command='reboot'
